ReplyDeleteHello! I am follower number 800!
ReplyDeleteI am already a big fan of FQ shop :).
I would use this lovely fabric to make a donation quilt. As some of you may know, large parts of Australia have been damaged by flooding and cyclones in the last few months. A group of us has formed a quilting group to make and send quilts to children who have lost their homes. There are currently 325 children registered to receive a quilt (and this is in only one area in one State). I have so far made 4 quilts and they are already in the hands of their new owners :). I would love to be able to continue doing this :)

ReplyDeleteWhat would I do with this fabric should I win?
ReplyDeleteI would first fondle and pet the fabric. And while doing that, I would think about the variety of options (patterns) that would best fit the fabric. And then, after enjoying looking at it, I would pick out a pattern (or make one up) and buy extra fabric if needed. And then, I would slice and dice into the fabric to create a quilt. :-)
Wow this fabric is gorgeous! What an amazing quilt it would make :-) Thanks for such a generous giveaway.
