First I'll announce the winner of our giveaway, a Stash Pack and teflon sheet from Vicki Welsh. Make sure to stop by her shop for custom hand dyed fabrics. Thanks so much to Vicki and congrats to Becky!
I visited the shop and I would have to say that the Blue Stash Pack is my favorite, but I love the Pebble one, too... and the Autumn Stash Pack has great range... Oh, they are ALL beautiful!!!
See here if you need a refresher on how to play! :)
Thanks for hosting! The quilt I linked up is super simple and hardly anything amazing, but I had fun with it...and it was fast.
ReplyDeleteSorry I can't give an opinion about the quilting bee...I'm not really familiar with how they work in the blog world.
Thanks for the feature!! I have just joined my first bee, so no help there sorry - but I'll let you know once its finished :)
ReplyDeleteI linked up the kilt and vest I finished this week. Not quilty but kept me from quilting. So glad its done.
ReplyDeleteHaven't done any quilting bee's in person or online... sorry.
A simple little quilt, but the first finished one of the year!! Kx
ReplyDeleteGood morning ladies ... it's been a while but I joined in again today. Thanks for hosting as always. Gorgeous features from last week. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all of the beautiful quilts with us...I love seeing what other quilters are doing and every week I'm so inspired!
ReplyDeleteI've been in several bees...if you get in with a group of quilters who will send your block back...it's a lot of fun. When they don't...well, it's disappointing, but I've always sent my fabrics out with the thought they might not come back anyway and I plan on making extra to make sure the quilt top (or project) is completed either way. If they all get sent back, you have extra for the back of the quilt!
Thanks!
Thanks for hosting, as always, girls - and as for joining a new bee, I think the key is who else is involved. I'm in three bees right now, two of which where I started the bee and picked the people - those are the ones that are most enjoyable, because they are people I enjoy who are reliable. Good luck, bees can be a lot of fun with the right people!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited that I won the teflon pressing sheet and Vicki's beautiful hand dyed fabric!! Yippie!!! Thank you so such for hosting the giveaway - I picked a great time to be lucky!
ReplyDeletesorry for the multiple posts...blogger doesn't like me today either! lol
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my block! I feel so special. I mean, you're QUILT STORY, for Pete's sake! So awesome.
ReplyDeleteI just joined a few bees this year and I am loving them! I have been blessed to be joined by some other very talented people and I think that makes all the difference.
Lots of pretty ones featured! I just put my name on the list for the next circle at Do.Good.Stitches - haven't been assigned a group yet. If you join there maybe we will be in the same circle!
ReplyDeleteI've had a lot of fun as a participant in the 4x5 Bee--and it's low commitment, since you can opt out at busier times of the year. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. I just started following your blog. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteGood job very nice design.
