This may not be new to some of you, but wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas with a fun Wreath block tutorial. I shared this on another blog last year, but don't think I posted it here. Here you go:
Using this template and 4 green prints, cut out 4 leaves. I did a fusible web for my applique. Choose which method you like. I think I used light heat and bond.
Lay them out like this and iron down...
Sew your leaves down to your background. I used a blanket stitch.

Do the same process for the bow
Done! Cute little wreath block. Would be a great mini quilt with some borders.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!
I love this. I create costers for my aids for each season and could not find one to do for christmas. This is perfect and will look good in a smaller size. Thank you for the tutorial. Jess

Great block and tutorial.Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteIt would be! And a great table topper, too. I may have to make some - 1 a month this year. It wouldn't take much time, which is limited around here, but I could make 12 friends happy next year! That gives me a NewFO project.
ReplyDeleteOh, darn, I meant to say thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteThe patterns are great!!! Awesome.
