Delicous Hand Dyed Fabrics, want some??


The giveaway this week is a great opportunity to add some unique fabrics to your stash. The fabric is

If you’ve never used hand dyed fabrics this is your chance. Vicki encourages you to mix hand dyed
fabrics with commercial fabrics, she does it all the time in her quilts. She also processes her fabrics so
that they are colorfast. You can read about her process here. Vicki also has a very active blog with lots
of free projects. You can see some of the projects that her customers have made in her Flickr group and
sign up for her free monthly newsletter here. Check out her shop on Etsy.

If you’ve never used hand dyed fabric maybe these yummy photos will interest you.


Vicki has over 40 different gradient patterns in every imaginable color combination. Art quilters
use these for backgrounds, appliquérs love these for variety of color and shading in each piece and
traditional quilters love these for borders. This one is Under the Sea.


Glamor Girl is an example of one-of-a-kind one yard cuts. These are great for handbags and totes.

A favorite for art and scrap quilters are Stash Packs. These contain 10 fat eighths of beautifully textured
fabrics.

    OOOOOH, sew pretty! I love the Hand Dyed Golden ad the hand dyed woodland! These would both be great in an upcoming project I will be working on! Vicki's colors are so vibrant ! Love it!!

    Did you ever see such yummy fabrics? I looked at the Stash Packs and can safely say, "I'd love to have every one of them!" In order, (I guess.) I liked Love Bug, then Neutrals, and then Moody Blues. Then the gradients...goodness...loved them!
