What inspired your bed runners?

Heather: I have always loved vintage floral, I based this design off my love of vintage. I liked the look of crochet lace with the floral prints. Just a sweet pretty look.

Martingale - Quick Change (Print version + eBook bundle)

Megan: My "Winding Roads" I loved the idea of a log cabin and playing with the values to create a light center. I though that look was great for a long piece like a bed runner.  Plus I think this will work with almost any fabric collection or scraps!  For "Burst" I loved the idea of starting a design in the middle and having it spread out and "burst" from the center. Art Gallery Fabrics basics were perfect for this runner!

Do you have other favorite projects from Quick Change?

Heather: I love Megan's Burst bed runner
Martingale - Quick Change (Print version + eBook bundle)

Megan: I love Heather's Vintage Pedal! So sweet and pretty.  I also think this runner is pretty sweet, there's some great projects in the book that can be used year long!

What does the master bedroom of your dreams look like?

Heather: White, cottage, little pops of color.

Megan: Similar to Heather, we are practically twins afterall! A very soft and light palette like white, grays and blues.  Then accessorizing with bright yellows or pinks!  I like mixing traditional pieces with modern.  Clean and simple!

  6. The master bedroom of my dreams does not have a sewing machine, an ironing board and shelves of fabric in the corner. That has all been moved to the sewing room of my dreams.

The master bedroom of my dreams has two big closets, new carpet on the floors, new paint on the walls, new blinds in the windows I already have the furniture of my dreams. It's the little details I'm lacking.

  39. I think I have the master bedroom of my dreams now although it could be a little bigger. I would also like another bookcase. Our furniture was made by the Amish in Arthur, IL. It is mission oak. The tall headboard has leaded glass across the top. My tall dresser also has leaded glass across the mirror. We have a quilt that my mother made and which was hand quilted by the Amish women for our bedspread. It is a scrappy Jacob's Ladder. Need I say more? Nancy A: rangerer@sbcglobal.net

  75. Lovely quilted bed runners! I like this idea. My master bedroom would have soft colors, blues and maybe a little pale yellow or lavender. Overall I love blues, like light turquoise, slate blue, soft blues, navy. Semi traditional, clean, not too busy in pattern or too old fashioned, but not too modern. Thanks for the giveaway!
