Just Dandy baby quilt...V and Co...

Okay, does she really need an introduction? If you don't know Vanessa Christenson of V and Co, well, just don't tell anyone, because that would be a little embarrassing. We LOVE her...and she has like eleventy billion followers, so we are not the only ones... This is a darling quilt that she sells in her shop along with several other fun patterns. Loads of good tutorials here... and just put her in your reader, or you would be missing out!

this quilt was inspired when my family and i spent a saturday day hiking together. no i didn't see a ton of dandelions that day. i just realized that this summer i really wanted to focus on being outside with my kids and family.

i figured hand appliqueing a quilt would be a great project for the summer. we spent every day at the pool, and on weekends we spent them camping, going to grandma's house, or roasting smores after a BBQ. every where we went my quilt came along as well and i was able to make progress everywhere i was.

i enjoyed this last summer so much that i think i've started a new tradition of doing some kind of hand work over the summer so i could travel and create not only memories but a project that i will remember my summer by as well!

Thanks so much Vanessa. We really love this quilt. So darling and whimsical.  Thanks for letting us feature you!
