Fabric Tuesday, were you featured?

First I'll announce the winner of our giveaway, a Stash Pack and teflon sheet from Vicki Welsh.  Make sure to stop by her shop for custom hand dyed fabrics. Thanks so much to Vicki and congrats to Becky!

I visited the shop and I would have to say that the Blue Stash Pack is my favorite, but I love the Pebble one, too... and the Autumn Stash Pack has great range... Oh, they are ALL beautiful!!!

  1. Thanks for hosting! The quilt I linked up is super simple and hardly anything amazing, but I had fun with it...and it was fast.

Sorry I can't give an opinion about the quilting bee...I'm not really familiar with how they work in the blog world.

  6. Thanks for sharing all of the beautiful quilts with us...I love seeing what other quilters are doing and every week I'm so inspired!

I've been in several bees...if you get in with a group of quilters who will send your block back...it's a lot of fun. When they don't...well, it's disappointing, but I've always sent my fabrics out with the thought they might not come back anyway and I plan on making extra to make sure the quilt top (or project) is completed either way. If they all get sent back, you have extra for the back of the quilt!

    Thanks!

  7. Thanks for hosting, as always, girls - and as for joining a new bee, I think the key is who else is involved. I'm in three bees right now, two of which where I started the bee and picked the people - those are the ones that are most enjoyable, because they are people I enjoy who are reliable. Good luck, bees can be a lot of fun with the right people!

  12. I've had a lot of fun as a participant in the 4x5 Bee--and it's low commitment, since you can opt out at busier times of the year. :)
