Fabric Tuesday, and our Uncle Dean...

This just makes us sad. This is our Uncle Dean. Our Mom's brother. He was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of brain cancer just last year.

He has run dozens of marathons in his life, and a handful of Ironmans, but wants to run one more. And   Kona Ironman is apparently the best, and has always been his dream! Up til June 15th we can vote for him to run this race. He is in the finals, but we need your help. Go watch this video, shed a tear, and vote for our Uncle. (on all your devices.)

THANK YOU!

EDITED TO ADD: YOUR COMMENTS THIS AM HAVE MADE ME CRY. THANK YOU! ALSO, REPOST, RETWEET, FACEBOOK ETC.

  34. I posted his video on my facebook page and know my friends will vote for him as I did. I am currently fighting (and sadly losing) my own battle with cancer and I love that he says It is what it is. That is my daily mantra and all that gets me through this hell called cancer!

  35. I'm sorry about your Uncle. I hope he realizes his dream. I have voted plus passed the link on to a very good friend of mine who is a marathon runner. He own father was a marathon runner as well but he is gone now. She has posted the link on her FB page also so that should hopefully boost the numbers as well considering the number of other runners who follow her FB page. Good luck! I hope he makes it. Please be sure to let us all know.
