I chose to go with something a bit out of my comfort zone. More bold colors, and more modern prints. Recollections from Art Gallery. I LOVE Art Gallery Fabrics, so very soft! And so many of my new favorite fabric lines are from Art Gallery. 

I am so happy with this quilt! I love the fabrics and colors. I can't wait to quilt it. Thank you Fat Quarter Shop and Art Gallery Fabrics.

Valentine's Goodness

Happy Valentine's Day friends!!  Hope you're planning to enjoy your weekend in one way or another.  My mommy is in town and so we will be enjoying the time with her (and new baby brother!)

I made this KISS pillow from scraps a couple years ago.  Right now it's beside my Be Mine Quilt in my front room. (Ignore the ribbon hanging out on the ground!)

I realized it matches perfectly with my Briar Rose Hexi Quilt, which happens to be the favorite quilt in my house.  Love me a pile of pinks and prettiness! :)

Also wanted to share this bundle I got with you.  Isn't it the sweetest?!  For Lakehouse by Pam Kitty.  The sweet aqua is a 1/2 yard cut and everything else is fat eighths.  I can't help myself, I must make Lucy something from this!! I'm thinking a tunic or dress.  Yay! :)

I loved getting to try out this super cute pattern from Fat Quarter Shop!

It uses a special pre-cut, a Jolly Bar (5" x 10") and a charm pack. I had this baby quilt top together in an evening easy peasy.  I used Day Sail from Moda and an Aqua Bella Solids charm pack.  I took at the too girly prints so I can use it for my little man :)

Mine would have to be finishing my memory quilt of my dad.  I'm a little less than halfway there. I do enjoy working on each block.  It can be really hard and sad but I will finish it because I want to snuggle in it.

Hi all, Me and Meg have had busy weeks. I have been sewing dozens of hours for a secret sewing project (don't you love when people say that?) And Megan has been busy delivering and snuggling a brand new baby boy. And you all have been busy too! Darling projects!

This whole pillow is 11" finished! Seriously!!! WOW! From Pedal sew lightly. Amazing!


From Quilting mod, this finish. Wow, the quilting! Amazing! I want to have a finish now just to play with some awesome free motion!
