Lucky Stars Quilt Top

Welcome to the Lucky Stars QAL!



Piecing the Quilt Top

Easiest week so far!
At this point you should have
8 square blocks
9 star blocks
18 patch blocks
 Step 1: Construct three rows as below. Star, patch, star, patch, star.

Step 2: Construct four rows as below. Patch, square, patch, square, patch. 

Step 3: Sew rows together as in photo.
Step 4: Add 3.5" borders.  As per fabric requirements 2-3.5 x 62.5 and 2-3.5 x 76.5

Ta-da!!  Hooray!!

You have THREE FULL WEEKS to finish JUST THE QUILT TOP.

    Oh I'm so excited! I just need to finish up my patch blocks and then I can assemble the top.

    After the link up, will you be giving instructions for how to finish the quilt? I've never done that. Should I wait or should I look for tutorials online?
