Lovely Little Patchwork: Strawberry Backpack

Hello!! Welcome to our blog!  It's my turn on the blog tour for Lovely Little Patchwork by the fantastic Kerri Horsely.  I was so smitten with the Strawberry backpack and got started right away!

 

 

 

 

Perfect for a 3 year old animal loving girl!  She stuffed her ponies in and we were off for a bit of a walk!

 

 

The drawstring closes and makes the little strawberry.  So sweet right?

 

 

 

Very easy little project, if you can sew a straight line you can make it!

 

 

Happy momma, happy pony carrying girl!

Sweet Orchard Makers Tote

Hello hello!!  Welcome to our blog :)

 

 Sedef from Down Grapevine Lane was sweet enough to include me in her blog tour.  And when I saw Sweet Orchard I was totally smitten.  It is so SWEET!  And a fabulous colors.

 

I decided to make something I really wanted so I made a Makers Tote (pattern by Noodle Head).

I stayed in the red and aqua colors (but was so tempted to throw in pink). I love the lining print, sweet dainty little fruit.

A peak inside.  Perfect text and stripe prints.

And as for the Makers Tote, it was a lot of steps and work, not too complicated. But I'm so excited to have a crafty tote to hold supplies for away projects.  It's really large too, I could stack some fabric in there!

Fab Tues #285!!!

Fabric Tuesday is here again!

I have actually been working on a bunch of stuff this week.  My sewing room is still lacking space as I need some more storage and a place to cut (and not my kitchen counters).

1- A quilt!  I'm working on a triangle Handmade Fabric quilt!  I am loving it so far.  Unfortunately it's "secret sewing" so I can only show sneak peeks!

2- A Sweet Orchard fabric blog hop, and that project I will share Friday, yay!

3- After those two I have fabric set to go for two baby quilts, yes! One for a gift and one for my Lucy girl's 4th birthday.  Where oh where does the time go?!!

Hello!!! I'm baaack!

For those of you following me on instagram @QuiltStoryMeg you may have seen we made our cross country trip from N. Virginia to S. Oregon!  Phew, that was a long one, lol.  I've settled into our house, mostly, and my sewing room is coming together!
