No Bake Jolly Bar Quilt Top

Excited to share another awesome Fat Quarter Shop quilt with you!

This quilt uses a "Jolly Bar" a pre-cut you'll find at FQS.

I love quilts that come together quick but look like they took a lot more work than that! Lol!

AND I'm thrilled to have a Chritsmas Quilt! Isn't Holly's Tree Farm from Sweetwater darling?!

Our "forest" behind our house is bare again.  It's crazy to see, it's so dense in the summer that it looks so different without all the green.

This is a FREE QUILT PATTERN. Woot woot! Find it here.

You can purchase the quilt kit and backing as well to get started (featuring Windmere)

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you enjoy these Shortcut Quilts as much as me.  Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy as my 6 year old would say (and write on his homework).

Fat Quarter shop Baby blog tour...

Good morning! I was privileged to be part of Fat Quarter Shop Blog Tour, using their new book Fat Quarter Baby. I got to make this fun quilt!!!

I made this "Peyton" quilt up with some of my favorite sweet fabrics! Mostly "Sweet as Honey" by Bonnie Christine. The cutest line! I mixed in other prints from my stash too...

This book has tons of cute patterns~! and I love the way the patterns are written. Hardly any reading necessary, tons of graphics and diagrams, my kind of pattern.  This book has 20 baby quilts, 10 for boys, 10 for girls, and you will see them all made up in the blog hop. Check out Jolly Jabber for the list of other bloggers to see more quilts from this book.

I did a simple crosshatch quilting...just simple and fast.

I am liking these mix of fabric colors, just a pretty pallet. I could use this in a full size quilt!

For the backing I used one of my all time favorite prints. Just beautiful!

Get the book! Good stuff!

Fabric Tuesday!

Did you have a productive sewing week?  I've been working on a quilt and sneaking in some Whimsy Houses.  Heather went to a quilting retreat and taught a class, lucky!!  I wish we lived closer together so we could do those things together.

Here are some great projects to share:
