First Friday Giveaway Day!

Hope everyone had a swell time trick-or-treating last night.  Ours was a success!  And by that I mean we went door to door begging for candy and got it :)  I had "Dark" Vader, Mario and a monkey in my group :)  Halloween was always one of my favorites growing up but nothing can beat Christmas, sorry :)

After receiving awesome feedback from you (thanks!) and our sponsors we've decided to have monthly giveaways!  The first Friday of the month we will have multiple giveaways, and with few exceptions that will be it.  One comment and you're entered into all of them. So take a minute to read through the great shops, what they're giving away and a little about them.

Critter Patch Fat Quarter Bundle Giveaway

HoneyBeGood is pleased to offer one 6-piece bundle in your choice of colorway - Sky, Autumn or Forest.

Hedgehogs, rabbits, raccoons, foxes and more. Critter Patch, the latest organic quilter's cotton collection by Alyssa Thomas for Clothworks offers up a nice variety of scale, including three prints that can easily be used as blenders. The small oak leaf prints are on a mottled color background that almost shimmers. There's not a stark solid to be found here. The organic cotton coming from Clothworks is quickly becoming among our very favorite. The quality of the cotton and the printing, the supreme softness, and an attractive price point all combine to make Critter Patch a great value.

My daughter says 'dark' vader too, or "black" vader. We went to our church's trunk or treat, which was great! Thanks for the giveaway(s).

My daughter (almost 4) enjoyed being a lion--went to 3 houses in the pouring rain and that was enough! She gets one piece of candy per day.

It was stormy here, so there wasn't much in the way of Halloween participation. We did eat some yummy burritos though!

My Halloween was very quiet. Here in Mexico, at least in our town, they don't do trick or treating but they do celebrate the Day of the Dead.
Thank you and your great sponsors for the giveaways.

Unfortunately we live at the very end of a dead end street so we really don't get any kids but I buy a big bag a week before Halloween and the tween kids in the neighborhood usually come by & grab a hand full after school. So by Halloween it's usually gone.

Awesome shops and what generous giveaways! This year my grandson was a ninja turtle and his folks, friends and I went around trick or treating. My grandson loved knocking on all the doors, hehe. It was a great night.

Thank you and all the wonderful Sponsors for super generous giveaways and a chance to win.

lovely bunch of shops - thanks for the chance to win. My girls are in high school and weren't interested in trick or treating. The weather was warm but we only got six trick or treaters. A lot of candy for us.

I wore a horrible mask while giving out candy, was great to see the reactions from unsuspecting trick or treaters! awolk at rogers dot com

Are house is too far from the road for trick or treaters but close enough walking the dog wad impossible! So I had a quiet night with a hyper puppy.

We handed out candy, but only had 9 kids! Trick or treating is not as popular as it used to be here (Calgary, Canada)

We had a great Halloween. Went to see our granddaughter dressed for her first Halloween. Then we went home to hand out candy to our neighborhood kids. It was fun to see how excited they all were to be dressed up.

I'm in New Zealand and Halloween just isn't that much of a deal here - we didn't even have any trick or treaters knocking on our door! Fantastic prizes you've got lined up here, and great sponsors.

My husband and I watched scary movies. It's our tradition!

My husband and daughter took our daughter trick-or-treating. Because we live in a basement apt, we didn't have to worry about passing out candy. Silver lining to not owning our own home. :) Great giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win.

I don't know if I qualify, but I'm excited about this non the less. On Halloween my family (20 of us) went to the DARE Spaghetti Fundraiser dinner at the Elks Club, and we had a great time. I also handed out candy during our neighborhoods organized trick-or-treat. I'm looking forward to the Holiday Tutorial Series, so glad I happened across your blog!
