I posted about this awesome book I got to be involved earlier this year.
It was an amazing experience! Collaborating on a quilting book with designers I look up to was a pinch me moment!
For my quilt I focused on a Stash Buster-type quilt. I love those and I think most quilters do! Opportunities to use up small pieces of my favorite prints? Yes please! This was my design contribution:
Rainbow too? Say no more :)
Here are some more of my favorites from the book:
Martingale was amazing to work with....THANK YOU!

I love scrappy quilts most of all and my fave block is probably Churn Dash. Thanks for the chance to win - the book looks amazing!!
I like simple but traditional designs. I like how the patterns in the book have simple contemporary lines but don't get too crazy modern or abstract.
It's so hard to decide. I'm a big fan of art quilts, but lately have be turing into a modern quilt appreciator.
I love star blocks - so many different kinds, so much variety, and they can look so radically different with different types of fabric!
My favorite quilt is probaly a scrappy quilt. I love a basic churn dash block! I ahve been really loving all the modern quilts and variations on older blocks.
Oh, I'd love to win! My favorite block is probably just a simple HST... so versatile! So naturally, I love your contribution to the book :)

I would love to win a copy of this book. Its so hard to pick a favorite block. I am loving rainbow quilts right now, it doesnt matter the design - wonky log cabins, flying geese, scrappy bars, curvy waves.
I love anything modern. I'm really into scrappy rainbow stuff right now.
I just ordered this book so you don't need to include me in the giveaway. :-) Now I can't wait to get it!
I love modern takes on traditional patterns with some improv thrown in.
I'm a big fan of the HST - so many pretty quilts done with that in all different layouts.
I have really gotten into the solid fabric modern quilts.
I love love your quilt...the colors and style! I would say that was more my style. Thanks for the giveaway!
My new favorite block is Sister's Choice - scrappy in green and purple with black star points. Some of the black has sheep or skeletons. It's for my guest bedroom and it's pretty crazy.
The Rainbow quilt is beautiful! I'm pretty new to quilting so everytime I see a new block and/or quilt it's my "new favorite!"
Thanks for the giveaway!
Hi! Thank you for the opportunity. I love all the quilts shown. It is hard to choose a favorite block. I am working on polaroids right now and probably doing a trip or chevron next. :)

Favorite block right now is St. Louis 16...but my favorites change frequently so who knows what project will be around the corner!!
I like quilts with lots of color and I love stash busters...rainbow, tree...there are many fun quilts in this book. Thanks for the chance to win it!
I love Amish-inspired quilts, i.e. classic simple shapes with modern fabrics (often solids but sometimes prints). Thank you very much for the chance to win a book with so many beautiful quilts.
I love very scrappy scrap busters and my favorite block today is the Churn Dash. Tomorrow it may change!
Not too sure I have a specific style! I just love quilting anything!

I like the traditional blocks but with modern fabrics.
Looks like a great book! I like some modern quilts, some traditional. My favorite block is the log cabin. Modern or traditional log cabins are so awesome!
Right now I'm loving quilts with curves. Probably because I tried piecing curves and it didn't go well. At all. But I'm going to try again!
I love modern quilts!
I love scrappy quilts and the new moderns really impress me. Thanks for the giveaway.
The Modern Quilt is my favorite and I'll tell you why. Ten years ago, the patchwork quilts and appliqued quilts were very nice, but I just loved the geometrical designs using solids, batiks, and hand dyed fabrics and I made these quilts. Not many of my contemporaries particularly liked my quilts. I did, so the rest didn't matter. They labeled them Amish-like and called it a day. Now these quilts are in "style"! I guess I was ahead of my time, eh. My favorite block is the churn dash...love it!

I tend to go for scrappy looking quilts but I love them all. I especially like your rainbow one and the blue elephant. My favorite blocks involve pinwheels. Love the book. Great giveaway
A favorite block? That's a tough one. I am making a sampler quilt and last night made a list of my "favorites" that "have to go in"...and the list came out to be 27 blocks long, for starters. So maybe I'll close my eyes and pick a random block from the list. How about "Best Friends"? Love the name, love the block.
I love using traditional blocks but using modern fabrics. This book looks amazing!
I like the dresdan plate. I love the new ways modern quilters are using them. I haven't tried one yet, myself.
I'm a pretty novice quilter still so trying lots of things. I love the scrappy quilts the most. The Amish quilts are striking, too. Also, have lately been thinking I'd like to try some applique.
My best block description is like comparing furniture. Love Ikea's scandinavian clean, crisp lines look verses traditional, overstuffed designs.
Log cabins are my favorite blocks - so many variations to try. Thanks.
Some people might not consider my favorite block much of a block but I still love the HST. It is so versatile. Just by twisting and turning you can combine it with other blocks to make an infinite number of designs.
I actually have been admiring the HST quilt you contributed - I am going to attempt that one - soon. And a copy of the book as a gift would help tremendously! Good luck getting to VA! (that's where I am)
I love your quilt the most! I need to build up my stash of rainbow colors first, but I am definitely making this quilt!!! Thanks for the giveaway :)
I'm loving scrappy quilts right now but I do intend to do Swoon sometime this year! Thanks for a chance to win this book!
Half square triangles are so basic, but can be so modern with the use of fabric and placement. Thank you for the giveaway
I love Jacob's Ladder. It was the first quilt I ever pieced. I guess I am more of a traditional pattern person. But I have to say that ones which use scraps as yours in the bold are wonderful because they give us a reason to buy more fabric, do more quilts, and have more scraps so we can do it all over again!
I love so many quilt blocks, but especially Dresden Plate. This book looks like it's packed with inspiration, and I really adore your contribution!
I love Katy Jones' Spring Carnival block. Some day I'll be skilled enough to give fussy cut EPP a try.
I love anything scrappy!
This is not a tough question...like a lot of people log cabin is my all time favorite. Stars are a second.
Thanks for the chance!
I love scrappy. I am trying to move toward the modern style quilts.
I like star blocks and improv quilts!
I like quilts using larger pieces of fabric.
I love most blocks - though I often go back to a sawtooth star or a winding ways block.
I love modern quilts with traditional roots. And I'm a sucker for a shoo fly or churn dash!
i love hsts. you can make so many different designs just by their position babscorbitt@gmail.com
Ohhhhh...I want this book so badly, have wanted it for months and months! I love all scrappy type quilts where you use it all up, the brighter the better! Hst's and flying geese and herringbone patterns are favorites!
Fun book! I love anything with HST lately. They are so crazy versatile!
I love a modern minimalist block. And lately I'm obsessed with equilateral triangles

Fingers crossed. If I win, the book gets shared all over Iowa (I'm a librarian). Favorite pattern Burgoyne Surrounded!
Fun quilts! I like the one with the triangles/trees. Hoping you and yours get settled in your new home soon!
I like improv star quilts.
I've made several quilts like your rainbow stash quilt but mine weren't organized in colors like yours. Beautiful! I used to make everything log cabin but lately I've been into star blocks. Love the quilts in the book. Thanks.
