Remember our sponsor Poppy seed fabrics?
Remember the cute Anna Maria Horner fabrics she sent my way???
I decided they were great fabrics for a disappearing 9 patch tutorial. So here we go...
Any size you want. I believe these were 8.5 inch squares.
Funny, I wrote cute not cut! You know what I mean, I am not going to re-edit the photo...
You can put them back any way you want in any order.
Sorry I don't have the final photo of the sewn up 9 patch. But I will be showing you the final quilt soon!
Easy and fun!
Make sure to check out Poppy Seed Fabrics!
Next week we are going to post a giveaway of some holiday fabrics, it will run all week. We won't be doing any other posts, just having fun with our families. Megan and I are going to reunite! FUN
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Very clever! So many quilts to make and so little time!
great fabrics there. Thanks for the tutorial. It is on my list of QTM
I've never done patching this way before! Think I'll try it for a bag.
Wow I love this idea! I will be trying in the new year!
Happy Christmas. Kxx
Thank you so much for showing that tutorial. I have never made one of those blocks, but will keep this in mind for the new year!
I've been wanting to do something like this. Thank you for the easy peasy tutorial!!! Merry Christmas!
I love this kind of quilt, you could have an entire quilt top done in a matter of an hour or so. Very quick quilt idea.
Needed an idea to make a quick top for a border class in a few weeks! This is perfect.
Wow, the finished quilt block looks a lot more complicated to cut out and assemble than it really is! Love it!

Thank you. I have a kit for that pattern that came with no directions.Looks easy.
I'd highly recommend the DNP to all quilters! It is simply wonderful, beautiful and unique. I think it enhances what was previously a simple 9 patch block and makes it look much more complicated and beautiful. Needless to say, I am totally into making Disappearing 9 patch quilts!

I wish I saw this BEFORE I started cutting a million squares, rectangle and big squares!Ha!
It's just better to be yourself than to try to be some version of what you think the other person wants. See the link below for more info.

Easy, easy, easy...Love it!
Did you start with 8.5"blocks of six fabrics? That seems large, but it would be easier to manage for sure.
I need a pattern for a twin quilt so I know how many colors of fabric I need and how much fabric of each color. How many blocks do I need to make a twin quilt.
Great explanation. Really love the colors. Did you share the final picture? Would love to see that
I've seen this done many times with 10 inch squares. I just realized it can be done with ANY SIZE squares! We can make small baby quilts or large bedside quilts just by the size squares we use!! I'm so excited! I've got to do one now. Right now! Maybe just a picnic size with some food and ant fabrics I have. I can't wait!
Thank you so much for making the sizing easy. WOW!!!!!❤😊
I feel so stupid for not figuring this out before! Duh!❤
